ANGLO-CHINESE JUNIOR COLLEGE – CENTRE FOR PERFORMING ARTS


The Anglo-Chinese Junior College Faith Centre for Performing Arts (CPA) is the centrepiece of the vibrant performing arts programmes at the College. It hosts a slew of facilities such as a fully-equipped theatre, a black box, a dance studio and other places for learning to keep the College’s vigour for performing arts alive. The CPA is home to many of the College’s outstanding musical and theatrical productions and the facilities are also available for use by the community.

SINGAPORE AMERICAN SCHOOL

Singapore American School (SAS) is a non-profit, independent, co-educational day school located in the Woodlands area of Singapore. It offers an American-based curriculum for students in preschool through high school. One of Singapore’s first international schools, SAS was founded in 1956, and started with a hundred students in a colonial house. It has since developed into a school of nearly 4,000 students on a 36-acre campus. SAS is accredited by the US-based Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)

A series of architectural interventions to existing school buildings, responding to the Ministry of Education Primary Education Review Implementation (PERI) for doubling-up education spaces, to meet the single school session programme. Each project comprises a multi-storey new block housing an Indoor Sports Hall and New Classrooms, Laboratories and Co-Curricular Facilities for Performing Arts, Music, Drama, Dance, Library and After-School care programmes.

Anglo-Chinese School (ACS) Independent

The design of ACS(I) Injected a Contemporary, Institutional character into existing campus that befitting a great institution of learning. Existing Clock Tower is retained as focal emphasis via strong axial relationship with New Campus; Clock Tower is ‘pivot point’ of New campus. The design respects the existing ACS (I) as the “mother school” and whole campus as one entity, creating a strong physical relationship between ACS (I) and ACS (IB) reinforces the perception of identity within unity, one ACS family.

Poi Ching School
